Where, when and what time is Real, Wild & Woody?
2 pm – 6 pm July 23rd, 2016, at Phoenix Convention Center, South Hall Building.
Lines to get in the festival will be located indoors (no need to worry about weather)
What are the price of tickets?
Tickets are $57 and include 20 beer sampling tickets and small bites from local restaurants and breweries.
Designated Driver Tickets are available in limited quantity and are $25 each. This ticket includes small bites only and no alcohol will be allowed to be consumed by the ticket holder. This will be strictly enforced.
What kinds of beers can I expect?
Expect the unexpected.
This event aims to showcase “wild and unconventional” brew styles that you might not see anywhere else. Some beers can only be found at this event. Look forward to cask-conditioned and barrel-aged, seasonal brews, beer cocktails and small batch favorites.
How many breweries are expected?
More than 65 breweries will be in attendance. Each ticket holder will have a chance to mix and mingle with the breweries.
Is food included in my ticket?
Yes, small bites will be provided by Arizona restaurants that pair perfectly with the craft beer samples. A full lineup will be released soon.
What time do the doors to the convention center open?
1:00pm (staging area inside the convention center opens at 1:00pm)
Is this a 21+ event?
Yes, but the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild allows babies under six months old to attend.
Can I buy extra beer tickets?
Due to Arizona liquor laws you are unable to purchase additional tickets.
Where should I park?
The garage for the south building is located at 601 E. Washington St., Phoenix.

Is there mass transportation nearby?
Yes. Please take Valley Metro’s Light Rail and Exit at Washington Street between Second and Third streets.
Will cabs be available?
Yes, we will have cab service available onsite.
What does a Designated Driver Ticket get me?
It allows you entrance to enjoy the festival and small bites from valley restaurants. Designated Drivers will not be allowed to consume any alcohol. This will be strictly enforced.
Are there nearby hotels? Any discounts?
Yes, the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild has set up a partnership with the Sheraton in Downtown Phoenix. Please see the hotel page for details.
Are animals permitted?
Only service animals will be permitted.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
Sealed water up to 1 liter is permitted. No backpacks or camel packs. Water will be available in coolers and for purchase inside.
No outside food and drink will be allowed, except for pretzel necklaces.
Are other events planned outside of the festival in the area?
Yes, please check back for more details. We are working on a few specialty events in 2015 with a broader schedule in the works for 2016 and beyond.
